Managing Property Amenities

Customizing shared community facilities and building-wide services.

Steps:
Amenities represent the shared features of a property (e.g., a pool or parking lot). To manage these:
  1. Navigate: Go to My Organization > Manage Property Resources > Amenities.
  2. Add New: Click the orange + ADD AMENITY button.
  3. Input: Enter the Amenity Name (e.g., "Fitness Center," "Swimming Pool," or "Pet Friendly") and click SAVE.
  4. Maintain: Use the Pencil Icon to fix typos or rename an amenity.
    • Use the Red Trash Icon to remove an amenity no longer offered.
  5. Usage: Once added here, these options will appear as checkboxes when you create or edit a Property.

Configuring Unit Features

Standardizing internal appliance and utility lists for individual rental units.

Steps:
Features represent the specific items found inside a unit (e.g., a refrigerator or A/C unit). To manage these:
  1. Navigate: Go to My Organization > Manage Property Resources > Features.
  2. Add New: Click the orange + ADD FEATURE button.
  3. Input: Enter the Feature Name (e.g., "Dishwasher," "Ice Maker," "Washer & Dryer," or "Microwave") and click SAVE.
  4. Standardization: Keeping a clean list of features ensures that your Unit Report and vacancy listings are professional and easy to compare.

    Organizing Location Tags

Highlighting a property's proximity to local landmarks and infrastructure.

    Steps:
Location tags help prospective tenants understand the neighborhood context of a property:
    1. Navigate: Go to My Organization > Manage Property Resources > Location Tags.
    2. Add New: Click the orange + ADD LOCATION TAG button.
    3. Input: Enter names for nearby points of interest (e.g., "Highway," "School," "Mall," "Airport," or "Beach") and click SAVE.
    4. Usage: These tags can be applied to a property profile to help filter assets by neighborhood type or proximity to essential services.

      Standardizing Resource Lists

Ensuring portfolio-wide consistency through global resource management.

      Steps:
Managing these resources at the Organization level provides several key benefits:
      • Speed: Staff can quickly select from a dropdown or list rather than typing manually for every unit.
      • Accuracy: Eliminates duplicate entries (e.g., having both "A/C" and "Air Conditioning" in your records).
      • Searchability: Allows you to use the Unit Report to find every unit across your entire organization that specifically features a "Dishwasher" or is tagged near a "School."
